How do I shape my Oshi mat?
Your Oshi mat is made 100% of TPE, which is a very flexible foam material. You can always mold your mat back to its original shape! We highly suggest to ALWAYS roll your Oshi mat image side OUT before inserting it in its Oshi bag. When your Oshi mat is rolled in this manner, the ends of the mat will automatically adhere to the floor or carpet.
If you notice the ends of the Oshi mat lifting when it is laid on a hard surface, simply roll the mat image side OUT for a few minutes until it molds back to its original shape.
If you notice that the ends of the Oshi mat are rolled too much inward, simply roll the mat image side IN for a few minutes until it molds back to its original shape.
Can I step on my Oshi mat with shoes on?
Although Oshi mat can be stepped on, the mat is not intended to be used with shoes on. Oshi mat is a clean surface for babies and we highly motivate you to maintain your Oshi clean for your infant. If your Oshi mat is stepped on with shoes, simply clean the surface with a disinfecting wipe and then pat it with a humid paper-towel all over the surface to remove excess disinfecting solution. Allow Oshi mat to air dry for a couple of minutes before inserting it back into its Oshi bag.
Does my Oshi mat absorb odors?
If any odor is absorbed by your Oshi mat (i.e. perfume, food, etc), the odor will disappear soon after. *NOTE: You might notice a particular odor from your newly purchased Oshi mat. The scent is completely normal of foam and/or printed products. Please allow your Oshi mat to air for the first few days and the odor will dissipate.
Is my Oshi mat CPSIA compliant?
Yes! Oshi mat has indeed been tested by an independent laboratory and it is CPSIA complaint. Oshi mats, including ink, have been tested and are certified to be in compliance with the rules and regulations of toys and accessories for infants -children under 12 years of age-. For more information, please visit CPSIA webpage http://www.cpsc.gov/about/cpsia/cpsia.html
